Setting up Links through a Network of HubPages, Squidoo and Blogger

All of us wants to rank well at Google Search. However, Google continuously changes the rules on how it indexes and ranks websites and webpages. Google do this in order to be always one step ahead of those who use black hat methods of getting top rankings.

There is however a way of ensuring that we get ranked well by Google! And that is by writing good content in all the articles and blog posts that we write. But writing only one good article or post is not enough. We need to write a series of quality content. These quality content would establish our credibility in the eyes not only of our followers and readers but also with Google.

Creating a Network of Pages

If you now have a series of articles, hubpages or lens, you would have to network all these pages together. Designate a page that you would want to rank high in Google. I say page because google ranks pages and not sites. Therefore, it is important that you designate your lead page or money page if you want to call it that way.

For example, if you designate one of hubs (an article or post in hubpages.com) as your lead page, all your other articles from Hubpages, Squidoo and Blogger should link to your lead page which is your hub page.

Maybe you are asking yourself, why Hubpages, Squidoo and Blogger and not the other sites. Actually you can use any other blogging flatform, the important thing is to use sites that have already established their credibility with Google. This is the reason why using these sites would get you faster than setting up your own blog site. I am not saying though that establishing your own blog is a bad idea. You will eventually get there if you use other methods applicable to setting up your own blog site.

In the image below, you will see that your Squidoo pages and Blogger pages are pointing to your lead page.  So, if say you have 10 pages and 10 pages from Blogger pointing to your lead page, your lead page would have 20 one-way links to it therefore having 20 votes for it in the eyes of Google.  One-way links are valued higher than two-way links, so your lead page would be better not to link to your other pages.  You could also link your other hub pages to your lead page in hubpages.com.

In my next hub, I will discuss how to make your lead page a money page and commenting on other hubs, lens and articles to increase the value and rank of your lead page.
