A HubPages Alternative

A lot of us are trying to establish an online income through article writing. Many of us have found HubPages as the duck that lays the golden egg. As article writers we have been very grateful to the HubPages team for providing those who dreamed of earning online income while just staying at home to care of their kids or because they have lost their jobs.

However, since unlike other internet marketers and bloggers who created their online income from self-hosted blogs, we must recognize the fact that we are not in full control of the system that lays the golden eggs.

Rules may change, new programs and policies may be introduced by the HubPages team. We must therefore try to establish another source of online income that would mitigate the effect that changes may have on our HubPages income.

We must therefore look for other article writing networks that would provide us another source of online income writing articles. I saw the need to look for alternative networks when the HubPages team introduced changes into their program.

In my Google Searches, I found one that provided a very low minimum payout at only $5.00 USD which of great interest to new internet marketers that finds the minimum payout of HubPages too high that it would almost take them forever before they can cash out.

My initial experience also is inspiring since I have only about 5 articles and in a week I earned $0.20. Just imagine if I only maintain that average earnings and I increase my articles twenty times or at 100 articles, I would be earning $4.00 per week. The potential could be more if you write more articles with highly traffic keywords.

For expert article writers who can write about 500 articles in just about 3 months, you shall be averaging $20.00 and $80.00 on weekly and monthly basis respectively. And that is just if you write like me. You could be earning more if write better than me.

Another alternative is Info Barrel. It gives you 75% of what is earned on Adsense Income. I believe the revenue model of Info Barrel is the highest among article networks that uses Adsense.
